Hackers Get Mini-Tanks In Your House

The new Dyson 360 Eye Robot Vacuum.

The new robo-vacuum by Dyson looks like a phenomenal product. I’m honestly most surprised at the compact size. The platform includes companion iOS/Android apps to manage the robot, including (primarily?) scheduling.

With Internet access, a 360° camera, and tank treads, my concern is that if when this platform gets cracked, an attacker gains the ability to case your entire home, from the inside, with your family in it, and you’d never raise an eyebrow.

… but I’ve been called paranoid before.
